BIOGRAPHY

Sofie (real name) was born in 1995 in Ukraine. As a member of a family of musicians, her education in music began almost at birth.

After her parents’ divorce at the age of three, music became Sofie's strength while living between two households. Sofie's dedication to her craft persisted throughout her childhood. When asked about her aspirations upon kindergarten graduation, Sofie had only one response: "A singer."

Sofie nurtured her musical talents during her childhood and teenage years, performing at small events, charity functions, and school productions. These experiences laid the foundation for her future success.

In September 2011, Sofie marked her professional debut as a singer. After graduating university with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Arts in 2016, she was well on her way to establishing herself in the industry.

Her first tour in China with the "DiViNe Show" in 2014 showcased four talented young women, including three ballet dancers accompanied by Sofie's vocals.

Sofie made her songwriting debut in 2016 and returned to her inspiration in 2018.

After relocating to China in 2016, Sofie rounded out her musical expertise by performing as a soloist and as part of various international groups, including a pop/rock band, a girl band, and an a cappella group called The AquaBellas. Soon after, Sofie began her career as a music producer.

Upon returning to Ukraine in August 2018, she began working on her debut EP titled "Just Wanna Be Yours".

Her debut music vide was released in 2019. EP had to be out a month later, but Sofie got a creative crisis so EP was out only in February 2021.

The following years posed challenges for Sofie and her career as the global pandemic impacted the music industry. Therefore, Sofie continued to sing and write, maintaining her passion through adversity.

In early 2022, she moved to Toronto, Canada. Here, she seized a remarkable opportunity to collaborate with Ukrainian legend Oleh Skrypka, marking a significant chapter in her Canadian musical journey.
